Treatment Dentures
Treatment or immediate dentures are made for patients to receive the day they have full mouth or full arch dental extractions. Treatment dentures permit patients to never have to go without teeth to smile and chew with while undergoing the transition from natural teeth to a denture. Treatment dentures also assist in conditioning and healing the gum tissue after extractions and will help the patient become accustomed to wearing a removable appliance prior to making the patients final permanent denture. When replaced with the final denture, they can be used as a spare set if the permanent denture requires servicing. Treatment dentures are typically worn for three to four months to allow appropriate amount of healing prior to impressions for the final denture.
